The traditional Thanksgiving, a date to share with your family and give thanks to God for all the blessings received. We take this season to give you some tips on what to do to celebrate and enjoy it to the fullest.

First: Choose the menu in advance. In general, you should include turkey with the traditional stuffing, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce, vegetables, salads and desserts.

Make purchases in advance. As always we recommend, not to leave things for the last minute, remember that it’s a big holiday and many supermarkets will be closed. Keep in mind everything you need to plan, and go out to buy with anticipation.

Prepare the meal. You don’t have to do all the food the day of the celebration. You can advance the most complicated so you just have to bake the easiest and enjoy your day!

Decorate your home. Crafts are always a good option for this season, and if you want to be original but you don’t have much skills with your hands or the time to do it, you can also create a festive atmosphere with aromatic flowers, and a simple but elegant decoration.

Reflect on the reason for this day. This is a good opportunity for each member of your family to express the reasons why they feel grateful and demonstrate the love they feel for each one.

Make a solidarity activity that allows you to help the less fortunate. Offer to attend a shelter and help to prepare the Thanksgiving dinner for the homeless. If your conditions do not allow it, simply donate canned goods, clothes, toys, or make a monetary donation to show your gratitude.

Remember that the purpose of this celebration is quite spiritual. Live your thanksgiving in the best way!
